
Gabrielle Quinten, LSW (she/her)
Gabrielle Quinten is a Licensed Social Worker with a certificate in mental health. She specializes in helping children and teens who are struggling with anxiety and OCD. Gabrielle also has experience working with children who have ADHD, depression, and other behavioral and emotional concerns. Gabrielle incorporates parents into her work with children so that parents also feel empowered and informed.
Gabrielle uses evidence-based treatment techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Gabrielle helps her clients set goals for their mental health that are attainable and measurable. She seeks to empower her clients with knowledge about how to best maintain their mental health, and to help her clients cultivate self-compassion as they work to understand their emotions. She hopes that all of her clients end the therapy experience feeling successful and efficacious in improving their well-being.
Gabrielle is an energetic, personable, and positive person. With her clients, she strives to build a meaningful therapeutic relationship, and an enjoyable and interesting therapeutic environment. Gabrielle cares about her client’s deeply and is committed to providing high-quality and ethical care.
Gabrielle completed her undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College with a BA in psychology, and her earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
