Caroline Lego, MSW, LSW (she/her)
Caroline Lego is a licensed social worker with experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults across diverse settings. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, strengths-based, trauma-informed care, collaborating with clients to build emotional strength, deepen insight, and create meaningful change throughout the unique challenges and transitions of growing up.
Caroline integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic skills and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She helps clients develop healthy coping strategies, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and strengthen emotional regulation skills. When developmentally appropriate, she incorporates elements of play and art therapies to encourage emotional processing and creative expression.
Her experience includes supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, behavioral challenges, trauma-related symptoms, school stress, life transitions, and family or peer relationship difficulties. Caroline believes therapy should be both safe and growth-oriented. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to build resilience and confidence.
She holds a Master of Social Work from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Child Development and Family Studies. Caroline remains committed to ongoing professional development as she works toward advanced clinical licensure.
