Kim Wedner, MSW (she/her)
Kim Wedner is a Licensed Social Worker with over ten years of experience in community mental health and outpatient settings. She works with individuals, children, adolescents, and families, bringing warmth, collaboration, and a neuroaffirming perspective to therapy.
Born with hearing loss, Kim approaches her work with a deep understanding of how disability and identity intersect. She is passionate about supporting clients navigating a wide range of experiences, including those within the LGBTQIA+ community, people who are neurodivergent, and those exploring identity and self-discovery. Kim has experience working with LGBTQIA+ parents and is well-versed in working with people with disabilities.
Kim specializes in treating Autism, ADHD, OCD, and mood disorders. Her therapeutic approach draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping clients unlearn patterns that no longer serve them while building skills for emotional regulation and self-compassion. When working with children and families, Kim partners with caregivers to strengthen connections and support regulation strategies at home.
Kim earned her Master of Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her son and being outdoors as much as possible.
