Ashley Berns, PsyD (she/her) 

Dr. Ashley Berns is a Licensed Psychologist. She completed her undergraduate studies and earned a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Oregon. Dr. Berns completed her doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at Pacific University in Oregon and a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in Adult and Older Adult Neuropsychological Assessment at Christiana Care Hospital in Delaware.  

Dr. Berns specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of adults and older adults with neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. She also has experience in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and other mental health disorders.  

Dr. Berns develops individually tailored assessments which address each client’s unique needs, concerns and strengths. Assessment results are used to provide recommendations for services, treatments and accommodations that can help to improve daily functioning, caregiver support, and overall well being.
